The so called "Cheap Alternative"
At CLT Inc. - we listen to our customers. Your concerns are our concerns. Customer feedback fuels our drive to improve service, prices and parts as required. Here is the most common concern that we heard from you:
Why are our pickup and/or feed rollers "expensive?" Answer: They're not.
It's because we specify if the rollers are OEM or generic. There is a difference. Price is one, quality is the other.
Our OEM parts are priced lower than our competition, so are the third party, generic rollers. Our customers have a choice. Our third party rollers are tested by our own technicians for durability compared to the OEM rollers before we put them out in the market. We do not carry some of the third party, generic rollers for a reason. They did not pass our quality control tests. We look at the longevity making sure that the parts do not cost our customers more money in the long run by having to replace these rollers more often.
It's a marketing ploy. You can get cheap rollers anywhere. Now you know the reason why they are "cheap." Are they OEM's? Nine out of ten, they're not. It does not hurt to ask. It's your money. It's your choice.
